Oh my gosh...8 days since I last wrote

Time just loves to get away from me....

here are some pictures of what we have been doing....

Santa waiting for kids to show up :)

Grammy sitting with Santa

Okay, I got caught kissing Santa :)

My Christmas cactus with lots of little bloooms

Logan making funny faces during our Christmas Potluck & Concernt

and we are all
moved into our
motorhome

and

it is even showing signs of Christmas
Nativity set that Ron & I have had since December 1975,
prior to that it was always up in our home
when I was growing up.
One of the few things I have that belonged to my mom,
I treasure it.

Our festive Christmas trees :)
The Nativity Scene is under the green tree

Close up of our white & red tree.
Train in front was a gift last year to Ron from a friend.

sorry it's blurry but Ron just finished putting up the colored lights around our new cabinet...
it really is pretty

The blue tote is the last of our Christmas decorations.
When we moved into the motor home we had 19 totes of Christmas decorations,
we took two with us when we hit the road,
we are now up to 3 totes full of decorations
and one with just lights.

Candle with snow couple on our kitchen counter.

So that is what we have been up to!!!

Have you decorated for Christmas?

Do you have one favorite ornament
or decoration that means
something special to you?

I would love to hear what it is.

And the saga continues...

And the saga continues...

I returned to Branson on
Sunday, November 23rd

and hit the ground running.

and getting ready for Thanksgiving Day.

We had our annual
Thanksgiving Day Potluck (and me forgetting to take pictures :( ).
We were 12 people
with lots of food.
I made the bacon wrapped turkey...
...yummy and will definitely do another one
along with the usual:
green bean casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy,
dressing, cranberry salad ~ made with pineapple,
cherry pie, lemon meringue pie and a pineapple cake.

We had lots of fun and great conversation.
I will try to remember to take pictures next time!!

And then Ron
got sick :(
he has been sick since Friday afternoon
and is finally on the mend today, Thursday.

Inspite of Ron being sick,
work as continued here at the campground.

Do you remember the QuickBooks saga...well that continues
and this week has been working on Round 4
of the merge from Quicken to QuickBooks.

Let's just say that by the time this merge is complete
I will know QuickBooks inside and out!!!!

And the move to the motor home continues
and we really are making headway:
our bedroom, the bathroom, spare bedroom,
kitchen and dining room are all done!!!

What's left is the living room, sun room and storage room
and we believe that will be finished by this weekend.
Well that is our plan anyway.

***********

One of the projects that we have is to scan all our pictures
and because I had nothing else to do
I scanned 327 pictures in two days.

Here are a few of them,
because we all know,
a post I do without pictures
is just sad...

so hope you enjoy them!!!

Oh My Gosh...where have I been?

Oh My Gosh...where have I been?

I can't believe it has been almost a month since I last popped in...

...so let me do a bit of an update....

We last left you with us working on moving back into our motor home

and that is continuing

and it is even to look a little like Christmas around here.

Our fireplace which keeps us nice and cozy with Santa & a reindeer keeping watch over our puppy.
One day in moving things and trying to get organized I gathered all my pens
(well the ones I knew about)
and put them in this great basket!
While doing this I said to Ron "we sure have a lot of pens."
His reply "well I haven't bought a pen or even stole one in a very long time.
I believe you are the buyer of pens in this family."
Ali's pen collection, or should I say one of my  many pen collections.
So besides moving into the motor home
I made a trip to Clackamas
to see
Brandon, Danalyn, Max
Christopher, Treyson & Alexander

While in Oregon
My Bestie made the trip from Birch Bay to Clackamas

Dee and Alice
Thanks Treyson for being such a good photographer
Dee & Alexander along with photo bomber Treyson

Christopher eating breakfast before school

Max...he really was there we just didn't get to see him very often :)
But I've herd that's pretty common with teenagers.
And before I returned to Branson
we celebrated
Thanksgiving together

Treyson coloring on his placement waiting for dinner to get done.

Danalyn wokring on mashed potatoes and Brandon trying to figure out how to cut the bird.

Close up of Treyson seriously coloring his placemat.
He reminds me of his daddy when he was little and would be working on something, the tongue is hanging out just a tad :)

Still working on the bird.3

3 plates ready to be served

Max dishing up his plate.

Gathering at the table.

During meal time.

So thankful to be with Brandon and his family

And then before I knew it,
it was time to return to Branson.

And get ready for Thanksgiving here in Branson

and continuing to move into the motor home.

Stay tuned.

Oh, one last picture of the
4 GrandBoys!

and their daddy!!!
